Green schools save money and support a healthier environment

Next to salaries, energy costs are often schools' single largest operating cost. That's why FrontRow products are designed to use significantly less energy— up to 63% less — than other brands. According to the United States Green Building Council, schools that go green can "save up to $100,000 per year — enough to hire two new teachers, buy 200 new computers or purchase 5,000 new textbooks. And, if all new school construction and school renovations went green starting today, energy savings alone would total more than $20 billion over the next 10 years. By promoting the design and construction of green schools, we can make a tremendous impact on student health, test scores, teacher retention, school operational costs and the environment." In support of green building projects, FrontRow is the only classroom sound provider that’s a member of the US Green Building Council.

Each year, millions of electronic devices end up in landfills, potentially leeching toxins into our water supply. For this reason, FrontRow’s design and manufacturing processes keep lead, mercury, PBDE and other toxins out of its products – and out of the environment.

In our daily work lives, FrontRow employees maintain a comprehensive recycling program for all e-waste and batteries.

Additionally, we inform all of our sub-suppliers of our Environmental and Social Responsibility Policy and require them to adopt similar practices aligned with these expectations.
